Sager & Sons Auto has been a fixture in Boise since 2012. A real family shop, started by Dan and built alongside his sons as they grew old enough to turn a wrench. If you'd rather hand your keys to a neighbor than a corporate service center, you've found your place. We run the latest diagnostic equipment, but we're still small enough to know your name, explain every repair, and never recommend something you don't need.
Dan Sager started this shop in the Boise in 2012. As the boys got old enough to turn a wrench, they joined him in the shop and that's still how we operate today.
We're not trying to be the next big chain. We're trying to be the shop your family calls first, the one that explains what's actually wrong, shows you the evidence, and doesn't recommend work you don't need.
We have the technology and tools to handle anything a modern domestic and Asian vehicle throw at us. But we're still small enough that you'll talk to the same people every time the ones actually working on your car.

Can I get an estimate over the phone?
We can give you a general range, but we don't provide firm estimates without seeing the vehicle. We want to make sure we're actually solving your problem, not just guessing and throwing parts at it. Once we inspect it and know exactly what's wrong, we'll give you a clear price before any work begins.
How much does a diagnostic cost?
We offer a complimentary visual inspection at no charge. If we can identify the problem by looking at it, there's no diagnostic fee. If we need to dig into the vehicle's systems or disassemble components to find the issue, we'll call you for authorization before we ever proceed; no surprises.
What vehicles do you work on?
We service all makes and models. Domestic, Asian, and diesel vehicles. We do not service European vehicles.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. As a NAPA AutoCare Center we back our work with a 3-year / 36,000-mile nationwide warranty on qualifying repairs, honored at participating shops across the country.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, we offer flexible payment options through Snap, Affirm, and Sunbit so you can get the repairs you need without having to wait.
How do I schedule an appointment?
We operate on an 8AM drop-off model. Book online anytime or call us at (208) 761-9406. Drop your vehicle off in the morning, we inspect and diagnose it, then contact you with findings and pricing before we do anything.
How long will my repair take?
Most repairs are completed same day or next day. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when we call with your diagnosis, and we'll keep you updated throughout the process with texts, photos and videos so you're never left guessing.
Are your technicians certified?
Yes. Sager & Sons has ASE Master Certified technicians on staff; the highest level of certification in the trade. We've been serving the Boise Bench since 2012.
What makes Sager & Sons different from other shops?
